"One Moment More"
Here we are at that old crossroad;
Here we are to say goodbye.
So, before you go, may I repeat,
Whether ever again we shall meet:
If I were transported
To some far celestial shore,
It could only mean
I’d seen your face one moment more.
And if my troubles fled
And never passed here anymore,
The only explanation could be you.
And if by some sad turn of fate
My days became a chore,
I’m happy, even just in dreams,
To see your face one moment more.
